Teardown

Documented disassembly: donor components become spare parts in stock.

Teardown is a service process of disassembling a device into parts with full documentation: what was removed, its condition, and where it was placed.

Where to find it

Service Center module → Teardown (Disassembly) (…/erp/teardown).

Teardown

Process

  1. Select a donor device (from the catalog or a repair deemed uneconomical).
  2. Remove components and register each one: type, condition, photo (you can edit it immediately — crop, highlight defects).
  3. Each component becomes a separate item in stock with a link to the donor.
  4. The donor is written off; the disassembly history is saved.

Difference from Salvage

Salvage is a warehouse operation of "write-off and receipt." Teardown is a service process with diagnostics and photo documentation of each component. For quick disassembly of batches, use Salvage; for valuable devices, use Teardown.
