Product Description Templates
One HTML description template per category and language — with automatic product characteristic substitution.
Description Templates allow you to define the structure of a description once for a product category (headings, benefits blocks, warranty) — and then the description for each product in that category is automatically built from the same data.
Where to find it
Products & Inventory module → Description Templates (/erp/description-templates).
How it works
- Select a category and language — each category+language pair has its own template.
- Write HTML markup with placeholders: general product fields (
{{name}},{{price}}) and characteristics ({{spec:key}}) — for example,{{spec:CPU}}will substitute the value of the "CPU" characteristic from a specific product. - If needed, use the AI button to generate or improve the template based on a brief description.
- Save — the template is immediately applied to product pages in that category in the store.
Why use it
Instead of manually writing descriptions for thousands of products, a single template per category generates consistently structured, complete descriptions using real product data.
